I could be an old crank and wish that the stadium be demolished, olmsted’s overlook shelter rebuilt, the Shattuck campus be restored as parkland, the refectory rebuilt, the country park be de-golfed... But this is a realistic forward-looking development and congratulations to the Mayor and her team for brokering the deal.
Really looking forward to Boston's return to NWSL and a sustainable, bright future for the sport in Boston after reading this. Congrats to everyone involved in bringing this to fruition!

Any thought of paving over part of our historic park would be a deal breaker, and we’ve been clear about that from the beginning! The goal is to coordinate parking nearby with direct shuttles & walking.
